How it may work

Consultation is distinct from a child’s insurance-funded ABA treatment and from the school’s legal responsibilities. Scope, credentials, contracting, and deliverables must be defined before work begins.

  • Separate school or district agreement
  • Clearly defined scope
  • Qualified clinical leadership
  • Availability confirmed case by case

The clinical team and family

The BCBA leads assessment, goals, and supervision. An RBT or behavior therapist may implement approved activities under supervision. The family contributes priorities, context, and feedback throughout care.

Availability and insurance

Service availability depends on location, staffing, clinical fit, authorization, coverage, and scheduling. Contact the team to confirm what is currently available for your family.

Coverage depends on eligibility, benefits, medical necessity, authorization, provider participation, location, and service availability. Sending a form does not guarantee coverage or placement.
