How it may work

During sessions, the RBT follows the approved plan, records information, supports skill practice, and communicates with the supervisor. Families should know who supervises the case and how to raise questions.

  • Direct implementation of the plan
  • Ongoing BCBA supervision
  • Session data collection
  • Clear communication channels

The clinical team and family

The BCBA leads assessment, goals, and supervision. An RBT or behavior therapist may implement approved activities under supervision. The family contributes priorities, context, and feedback throughout care.
